"I had two options, One was to remain silent and wait to be killed. And the second was to speak up and then be killed.I chose the second one.I decided to speak up.And since that day,our voices have only grown louder.
Why is it that countries which we call 'strong' are so powerful in creating wars but so weak in bringing peace?
Why is it that giving guns is so easy ,but giving books is so hard?
Why is it that making tanks is so easy, but building schools is so difficult?
Let us bring equality, justice and peace for all.
The empty classrooms, the lost childhood, wasted potential-let these things end with us.
Let this be the last time that a girl is told education is a crime and not a right.
Let this be the last time that a child remains out of school.
Let us begin this ending.Let this end with us and let us build a bright future right here, right now"
These are the golden words of a girl
who had extraordinary courage in campaigning denied education,
who spoke up as the voice of suffering girls,
who was shot down by the Taliban,
who fought for the rights to education,
who survived the gun shot,
who is the Nobel Laureate.
Malala Yousafzai - the Global symbol of peaceful protest and the youngest ever winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
Highlighting feminism without quoting her seems vacuous. When the whole world is silent even one voice becomes powerful. She stood up with her voice for education. She staunchly believes that One child, one teacher, one pen and one book can change the world. Now and then,Women are warrior. They ought to fight with pen rather than sword
To all the girls who have faced injustice and being silenced.Together we will be heared.Let us roar.Let us roar our right to education.Let us make the world a better place with a fierce determination towards education. The world is in need of more of Malalas.
